GHAU
GALLERY
Ghaus (also spelled gau, gao or gawu) are portable or wearable
shrines worn by Buddhist followers during travel or at home.
They were used to contain sacred deity images on paintings or
in clay, blessings, prayers, magical objects and other items
to ensure their safe travel. |
